Operator and contact

The service is operated by Liam Andreasson trading as Outranked, a sole proprietorship (enskild näringsverksamhet) registered in Sweden ("we", "us"). The legally required provider details are on the legacy. These terms work together with the public rules; if the two disagree, these terms control.

What the service is

Outranked is a paid public ranking. You may pay to list a website and to occupy the rank that amount can take under the rules. Listings are paid advertisements, not editorial reviews, certifications, endorsements or independent opinions.

A payment buys placement on the board at the rank that amount supports when the payment is fulfilled. It does not buy traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, exclusive placement, a fixed time at a specific rank, search-engine rankings or any particular result. Someone else can pay more and outrank you. We may change, pause or stop features, including categories and ranking rules.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• If you use the service for a company, you represent that you may bind that company, and “you” includes that company.
• You may not use the service if you are prohibited from receiving such services under applicable law.

Payments and taxes

Checkout is processed by our payment provider. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers; the provider's own terms and privacy notice also apply to the payment itself. Amounts are in euro, and no VAT is added: you pay exactly the amount shown.

A new listing costs at least €10, in whole euros. Taking a spot costs at least €20 more than its current amount. If your website is already listed, checkout charges only the difference up to your new total, and that total must be at least €20 above what you have already paid. The price is shown before you pay. Completing checkout is an offer to buy ranking placement on those terms, and your position is set when the payment is confirmed.

Delivery

Outranked sells a digital service only; nothing is shipped. Your listing is created or your rank is raised automatically within a few minutes of the payment being confirmed, and a receipt is sent to the email you enter at checkout. If your listing does not appear, email anreassonab@gmail.com and we will fix it or refund you.

Refund policy

All payments are final and not refundable. Ranking placement is a digital service that starts as soon as the payment is confirmed: the listing is created or the rank is raised and the amount is counted on the public board. Being outranked later, Today's board resetting, fewer clicks than expected, a category you dislike, downtime, or a later removal for breach of these terms does not create a refund.

By paying you ask us to start this digital service immediately and acknowledge that any statutory cooling-off right ends to the extent the law allows that waiver. Where a mandatory consumer right cannot be waived, we honour it. A chargeback or reversed payment without a legally required basis is a breach of these terms; we may then remove the listing and refuse further use.

Listings must show valid company details

You may only list a website you own or are authorised to represent. The live site must show valid, current details that identify who is legally responsible for it: legal name and, where the law that applies to that site requires it, a postal address, a working contact method and any required business-register or tax information. Details that are missing, fake or that we cannot reasonably verify are grounds for removal, and we may take a listing down at any time without refund.

Your warranties

By submitting a website, details or a payment you represent that:

• You have the right to list that destination and to send visitors there.
• The listing and the destination comply with applicable laws, including advertising, consumer, privacy and intellectual-property rules.
• You are not impersonating another person, brand or company, and you are not claiming a rank for someone else's site without authorisation.
• The destination is not malware, phishing, a scam or a site whose main purpose is to deceive visitors.
• The information you submit is accurate and you will keep it accurate.

Prohibited listings and use

In addition to the rules, you may not list or use the service for:

• Sexual, pornographic or adult-platform content; chat, invite or messaging-group links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and similar); or link shorteners used to hide the real destination.
• Content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, violent or that exploits children.
• Counterfeit goods, unauthorised streaming or other infringement of copyright, trademark or other rights.
• Offers that require licences you do not hold (certain financial, medical, gambling or weapons offers).
• Interfering with the service: manipulating click counts, bypassing limits, automated rank claims without our written permission, or copying the board for a competing product.

Our right to remove listings

We may refuse, delay, edit, recategorise, hide or permanently remove any listing or page, with or without notice - including where we believe these terms, the rules or the law may have been broken, where a rights holder complains, where company details are missing or invalid, or where the listing creates legal, security or reputational risk. Removal does not entitle you to a refund.

Names, logos and fair use

To run the board we fetch and display publicly available information about listed destinations: names, titles, descriptions, logos and favicons. We use that material only to identify the listed site to visitors and to operate and moderate the service. Showing a name or logo is not affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by its owner. Outranked's own name and look are ours; you may not copy the service or use our brand in a way that suggests we endorse you.

License you grant us

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, cache, format and publicly display your listing and the public metadata we fetch for it, for as long as needed to operate and archive the service. If you want a listing taken down, contact us; a takedown does not undo a completed payment.

Complaints and rights notices

If you believe a listing infringes your rights or is unlawful, contact us with your name and contact details, the listing on Outranked, the destination it points to, a description of the problem, and a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act. We may remove or restrict the listing while we review the notice, and we may share it with the lister.

No endorsement

Appearance on the board is not our opinion of a product. We do not verify that listed companies, claims, prices or results are true. Click and visitor counts describe what our systems recorded; they are not a promise of any outcome for you.

Availability and changes

We provide the service as-is; it may be unavailable, slow or incorrect. We may change ranking rules, minimums, categories or these terms. If a change is material we update the date on this page. For a payment already completed, the terms in effect at checkout still apply to that payment.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that listings, names, images, ranks or click counts are accurate or complete.

We do not limit liability that applicable law says we cannot limit, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or liability under mandatory product-liability rules. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill or other indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim relating to a payment is limited to the amount you paid us for the listing the claim concerns.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Sweden, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer with a mandatory local law that cannot be displaced, that law still protects you.

General

• If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent.
• These terms, the rules and the privacy policy form the entire agreement for the service.
• Payments, hosting and analytics involve third parties; their outages or decisions are outside our control.
